Why operators work with resellers

A partner brings riders from other countries and other languages, and fills the last cabins of a departure. In return it takes a commission, agreed between you, and you lose part of the direct contact with those guests.

The double-booking problem

Availability sent by email or in a shared spreadsheet is out of date the moment someone books. The agency sells a cabin you sold yourself the same evening, and one guest has to be told at the dock.

Share one stock

• Partners read your live availability, from the same stock you sell on your own booking page.
• The bookings they push arrive as “to confirm”: you keep the final say on your boat.
• You choose which departures are distributed, one by one.
• Each partner connects with an API key you create, and that you can revoke at any time.
• A booking widget for a partner's website, and an iCal feed for their calendar.
• Signed webhooks on every booking, payment or cancellation, to Zapier, Make or your own tools.

What it costs

The API, the widget, the webhooks and partner distribution are included for every operator, with no subscription. KiteDeck takes 3 % excl. VAT (plus 20 % VAT in France) of each payment collected online through it; the commission you pay a partner is agreed between the two of you.

Which agencies and platforms can connect?

Any agency or platform able to call an API. They authenticate with a key you create for them, read your catalogue and live availability, and push their bookings.

Do partner bookings confirm automatically?

No. They arrive as “to confirm”, marked as pushed by a partner with its reference, and you confirm them in KiteDeck.

Can I distribute only some departures?

Yes. You choose, departure by departure, what partners can see and sell.
