excl. VAT per payment collected online through KiteDeck (deposit or balance). No subscription, no setup fee. French VAT (20 %) is added for operators based in France.
Stripe's payment fees are yours, taken by Stripe. Payments you record by hand cost nothing, and a refund gives the commission back.

Frequently asked questions
- Can I move over from my spreadsheet?
- Yes. You create your boats and your cruises, then import each cruise's participants from a CSV file exported from your spreadsheet. Most operators switch between two seasons, when the schedule is quiet.
- My boat looks like no standard template?
- You start from a blank boat and add your decks and cabins one by one, with their type and their number of berths. The plan is drawn from your configuration, not from an imposed template.
- Who owns my data?
- You do. Your clients, cruises and bookings stay exportable at any time, and your account can be closed from the account page.
- Where is the data hosted?
- On European infrastructure for the application, with a managed and backed-up database. The detail is in our privacy policy.
- How much does KiteDeck cost?
- 3 % excl. VAT (plus 20 % French VAT for operators based in France) of each payment your clients make online through KiteDeck, deposit or balance. No subscription, no setup fee, no limits. The money lands directly on your own Stripe account; Stripe's fees remain yours. Payments you record by hand (bank transfer, cash) cost nothing.
- Can I sell in dollars, pounds or Swiss francs?
- Yes. Your organisation works in euros, US dollars, pounds sterling or Swiss francs, chosen once in the settings. Prices, deposits, reminders and exports all follow it, and Stripe collects in that currency.
